Next Stop: Berat

The bus or horrible mini bus to Berat took 3hrs. My hotel a budget place called Hotel Osumi seem to be more than adequate. It was about $25 a night, large room, great lighting and excellent wireless.  It was in the Muslim quarter in the middle of the city.
Berat is much nicer than Tirane. It boast a UNESCO world heritage site with a promenade running along the river. At night is is particularly lovely as the white houses built into the mountain are lit up. I found Albania as a whole very reasonable to live and eat.
